Welcome to Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Council!

We hope you are enjoying your summer, and that your daughter has participated in at least one of our day camps, residential camps, or other outdoor programs. While there is still plenty of summer fun ahead, we are busy planning for the start of another great membership year. Our program department has a wide variety of program events in store, and our volunteer development department has created a schedule of exciting and innovative courses to help all of our volunteers extend the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to every girl who wishes to join.

Now is the time to add Girl Scouts to your ‘to do’ list. Membership recruitment events are popping up all over our 30-county council, and if your daughter is not already a member, please look for one in your area. Or fill out our interest form, and begin the process to include Girl Scouting in your daughter’s life.

While you are thinking about all the fun she’ll have, please consider becoming a Girl Scout volunteer yourself. We always have a need for troop leaders, and the troops can’t form without adults to lead them. But we have many ways for you to support Girl Scouting, from ongoing commitments to one-time events, from sharing your unique talents to helping in our offices or at our camps. We can find a volunteer position that is the perfect fit for you. The same interest form can set you on the path to discover the rewards of volunteering for Girl Scouts. We can’t wait to meet you and share our excitement about the endless possibilities available through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
